Product Description
High-Performance butterfly valve, ring type with streamlined double eccentric disc and one-piece anti-blow out shaft, bi- directional sealing, anti-static design. Available in stainless steel and cast steel. Executed with replaceable seat in PTFE, Fire-safe, metal or double-seat version, for in-line sealing. For sealing to the atmosphere the valve is provided with a self-centering and re-adjustable gland packing of PTFE or graphite material. The body with centering holes for easy pipe alignment is suitable for mounting between flanges according to DIN PN 10/16 and ASME 150#. Face to Face dimensions are according to ISO 5752/EN558 basic series 20(DN 350, basic series 25). For easy adaption of both manual and automatic actuators the valve is executed with a topflange according to the ISO 5211 standard. Applications of series 96 butterfly valves can be found amongst others in general industrial and maritime systems for example in corrosive media, gases, steam and hot water up to a maximum of 20 bar (ASME class 150 execution). For application in cargo lines on chemical and liquefied gas tankers this valve has a BV type approval. Pressure and Temperature Range: 20 bar, -45°C to +260°C, depending on choice of material.
